Hello Kenowa Families,

We again appreciate the opportunity to work with you and your students throughout this school year. Throughout the year, we have continued to make students our main focus. As you are aware, we continue to make adjustments and keep our school a positive place for all students.

Your partnership and patience during these times is always appreciated.

Although we are just starting our 2nd semester, this also starts our planning for next school year. Over the next few weeks and months, we will meet with students as we plan for next year. We continue to be here to help meet the many needs of our students.

Please reach out if you have any questions and have a great weekend.

Nate

Hello Kenowa Families,

It is hard to believe that we are at the end of our first semester and heading into our break.

In a 'normal' year (whatever that means) this is a stressful time with finishing up classes and moving toward the holidays. This year would seem even more difficult for students as we have the added stressors with a pandemic and now the presence of school threats, at least concerns about school.

Please stay in touch with your student about how they are feeling and what needs they may have. We are here to assist and want to continue to partner with you to help all of our students.

Related to our threat earlier this week, we did a complete investigation and with any threat we always have the safety of everyone as our main concern. We realize that people may want more details and we will be as transparent as possible while also protecting student privacy. In any instance that is reported, we investigate immediately, and some situations are observed through social media or overheard in conversation. These situations are handled and again we all want this to be a safe place for everyone.

We will continue to bring together all our support resources through counselors, social workers, psychologists and law enforcement for the safety and well-being of our staff and students.

Please continue to talk with your students and remind them to say something if they hear or see something.

Thanks again and have a great weekend

REDEFINED

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
